California Housing sale

After a couple months of lackluster growth in transaction volume, California existing home sales rose to their highest level in nearly four years in June, as sales surpassed the 400,000 mark for the fourth consecutive month.
Single family sale were around 441,000 in the San Francisco bay area. The Central Valley region reported around 410,000 sold homes. And southern California were single family home sale around 451,000.
San Francisco Bay Area’s median price of single family homes was $841,960 increasing 12. 5 percent f ram last year. Sales in the Bay Area decreased 6.9 percent from a year ago. The median price in the
Central Valley region increased 8.3 percent to$293,460. Sales existing single family homes in the region increased 4.6 percent from last year. In Southern California the median price of single family homes increased 4.9 percent from a year ago to $496,380 and sales increased by 0.7 per- cent from last year.
The California housing market is in good shape at this time.
